The Dalby Confluence

I got an email not long ago to let me know a confluence I’ve visited in the past had been visited by somebody else recently. The confluence is 27°S 151°E, Between Dalby and Chinchilla, QLD, Australia.

A few snippets:

We had read the previous visitor’s report of a fun day bogged in the mud so we were eyeing the gathering storms clouds nervously as we approached the confluence.
…the axle-deep tyre tracks in the dried mud-patches reminded us…
